Under 10 White vs Ajax (R13)

31 July 2017 by HRJ

A brisk wind carried from the previous day as the rovers made their way to Caulfield to take on the “Jackers” on their digs

The first quarter showed our boys steel as max , leo and Nate were solid in defence, while Alessandro and Freddie offered great springboards booting the ball into the waiting arms of Ollie, Will and Harry Block.

In the second quarter Bailey, Stefan and Zac got plenty of the ball and gave great opportunity to Harry G and Massimo however Ajax had most of the play.

James P and Jake were proving hard to get past in defence in the third quarter with Jack Weavers determined to keep the ball alive in the contests however the goals started to pile up against them.

In the last stanza we proved better rivals as Freddie managed to score another with great support from Geordie and Matty Garlic showing his metal to boot his first for the year.

The boys winning the second half but down for the day. Great signs of a team emerging.

Well done boys.
