Under 14 Div 3 vs Sandringham East (R12)

25 July 2017 by HRJ

Every game takes 80 minutes of effort to be competitive. 55 minutes won’t ever be enough.

Each Wednesday we train in order to improve our skills and develop patterns of play that we can rely on to help us through tough games. Maybe we found out that we need to train a bit better and understand why we are there. Lesson learnt.

Positives:
Jules and Tom Pep running straight at the ball. A great part of your game that you have both stuck with.
Angus ran hard and showed his best work rate all year. You also took on more leadership with our skipper out of action for most of the day. Well done.
Harry O… leadership and drive were asked for and you produced. Very happy with your defensive game mate.
Sammy C… smart player with great intensity. Your use of the ball was very good and almost always to our advantage. Well done.
Mention to Chaddy who battled all day and got a real whack to the head (friendly fire) towards the end of the game. Real focus.

All the mums, dads and coaches know that this team will not be judged on Sunday’s game. We’ve all been there. Let’s see what we are made of by how we turn out next Sunday.

Let’s have fun, shepherd, tackle, run, bounce and give it a crack. (sell some candy too!)

3 games to go….. two training sessions to go….
