Under 14 Div 3 vs St Paul’s McKinnon (R3)

8 May 2017 by HRJ

Football has its ‘ups’ and ‘downs’ from week to week and Sunday I suppose we classify as a ‘down’. Speaking to their Coach after the game, he confirmed that we were effectively playing a Div 1 team on Sunday.

Once again a big thankyou to Zack, Ollie & Oscar for assisting and ensuring we had a bench. As mentioned after the game, they are 3 pretty handy inclusions that we would love to have every week!

James Chadwick was gallant all day laying what seemed like mountain of tackles.
Tom Pep was always in front and tried hard all day.
Gus Perkins refused to lie down and repelled the ball time and time again.
Will Garbs showed us all how to tackle as he took on the taggers role.
Tommy Reynolds gave himself an asthma attack from his work rate.
Harry Officer ensured that we troubled the scores albeit in the wrong column.

Let’s look to put on a solid 4 quarter performance this Sunday and re-join the winners list!
