The Rovers and broader Hampton community is in deep shock following the passing of a wonderful man, Adam Bogue.
Adam was a great family man to wife Kate and his three children Josh (U15), Max (U13) and Hannah (U10).
He was kind, loving, humble, a great mate and always putting his hand up to help.
Adam trained for all teams his children played in, ran the boundary and supported every club function. He was very popular in the annual “Battle of the Boots” dads game playing for Hampton Primary, even though he’d never played Aussie Rules, as he was born in Rockhampton, Queensland and raised in New Zealand.
Adam played plenty of representative Rugby. He was a strong and fit man, and an awesome role model. It’s clear his children idolised their Dad.
Our community has lost one of the great men that always had a positive word to share.
Unfortunately, due to the current Victorian Government coronavirus restrictions, we cannot come together to remember him, and his family has asked for privacy at this time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Kate, Josh, Max and Hannah.
Rest in Peace, Great Man.
