In Case You Missed It: Recent Hampton Rovers Juniors News and Social Media

26 April 2017 by Richard Bowen

We’ve been busy posting on our Facebook and Instagram pages, plus publishing new posts on our website so we didn’t want you to miss:

  • R1-4 Fixtures have now been published on the SMJFL website and on individual Team Pages on our website. These do sometimes change, so watch out for emails from your Team Manager. We publish the fixture for the next round on the front page of the Hampton Rovers Juniors Website.
  • Angus Brayshaw launched the 2017 SMJFL Season and made special mention of his time as playing Juniors at Hampton Rovers. “Being a part of the Hampton Rovers and the South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) as a junior has had a huge influence in my pathway as an AFL footballer,” he said.
  • Our U16 combined team featured in the SMJFL Social Spot for Round 1. When this team wins they sing both the East Sandy and Hampton Rovers songs in recognition of the two clubs that form this merged team.
  • We now have over 400 players registered at Hampton Rovers Juniors – our largest number of players for many years.
  • Last week our Trainers undertook first aid, CPR and ERC training for Season 2017. For some of our trainers this was their entire Saturday! Thanks Trainers.
  • Rovers on Track – every Monday night at Sandy Aths Track.
  • We have a heap of great photos from Round 1 on Facebook and Instagram
