The Hampton Rovers Junior Committee is currently calling for expressions of interest from parents (Dads and Mums) and senior mens and womens players that are interested in coaching all junior teams in season 2025. Each year it is the club’s role to ensure that every junior team has a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach that are accredited and suitable for the age group they will be working with, across our growing number of teams in both boys and girls junior football.
All appointments are made by the Junior Committee on a year-by-year basis. While the club has a two-year policy on Head Coach positions – Head Coach positions are reviewed at the end of each season before appointments are offered.
There is no automatic roll-over for a second year for Head Coaches or Assistant Coaches, and the Junior Committee seek interested applicants to nominate each year. All Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches need to reapply for the role if they wish to continue.
For coaches stepping aside after two years, Head Coaches may be considered again in the future to work with a Team or Age Group, however the expectation is that a Head Coach has stepped back from any official role with the Team, before returning to a Head Coach role within the same age group or Team.
