Communications from Rovers

10 February 2018 by Richard Bowen

Welcome to all our new Rovers’ families in Season 2018.

Almost everything we communicate to you during the year is also published on our Website. And on Facebook. And some of it on Instagram.

During the year you will be “pushed” the following regular communications from Hampton Rovers:

  1. Team Manager comms: during the season your Age Group Manager will send you 1-2 emails per week (or via a Team-App type thing, it’s up to the Manager). This communication will contain game-day info, Rovers’ social info and specific information relating to your team.
  2. Match Reports: each Age Group has its own part of the website and each week we publish match reports. The best match reports are NOT written by the Coach or Team Manager – volunteering to write a match report is a lot of fun.
  3. Newsletter: sent out weekly during the season, and irregularly during pre-season (there’s no such thing as off-season!) the newsletter goes to the email address you used when registering your child. If you want to add additional email addresses, then please provide that email address in the box on the bottom right corner of the website homepage. The newsletter contains Club-wide information, celebrates successes and advises of upcoming events.

You may also receive irregular emails from the SMJFL (who run the competition in which Hampton Rovers Junior teams compete).

The Communications team is comprised of Richard Bowen and Lisa Beavan. Plus a number of other people who also volunteer their time and creative effort. If you’d like to get involved we’d love to hear from you. Send us a message via the contact page on the website.
