One of my favourite weeks of the year has arrived. Round 1 for HRAFC Juniors 2018 is upon us. I’m pleased to announce we have broken another player record this year up on last years numbers which is simply fantastic. We have more than tripled the number of girls playing and have 4 under 9 mixed teams for the first time in the club’s history.
The season ahead will no doubt be a great one for all of our 480 plus kids playing the game they love in a safe and respectful environment. To all of our kids I wish you a fantastic year full of fun. A special shout out to all of our first timers and those new to the club – welcome to the Rovers Family. I hope to meet as many of you as I can throughout the year.
A big thanks to my committee, all of the volunteers, coaches and staff on the power of work that has gone into getting the season ready for our launch this Friday night. There has been months of work that has gone into getting the year in place. As recognition for these people I would welcome as many families as possible to our launch this Friday to celebrate the season kicking off. I hope all of you can make it from 4.30pm on Friday !!
