Hampton Rovers Juniors fields mixed and girls teams from U8s through to U17 Boys and U18 Girls in the South Metro Junior Football League. The majority of our younger age groups play their home games at our second home ground – Castlefield Reserve in Ludstone Street which is smaller and ideal for junior footy – the ground was recently resurfaced and new lights installed. Our older teams play at our main ground – Boss James Reserve, corner David Street and Bluff Road Hampton. Games are played on a Sunday.
Hampton Rovers Juniors is an enjoyable place for both players and parents to be around with a strong football program and regular social functions throughout the year. The bar at Boss James is open most Friday nights for the “Friday Night Local” throughout the season and everyone is welcome to come along for a drink, watch the footy on TV and the kids can have a kick on the ground. We enjoy the traditional “At Home with the Rovers” four times during the season.
Having the advantage of a one-club environment, the Hampton Rovers Football Club offers a full pathway for players. Starting off in Auskick, developing through the Juniors and playing Senior Football at a high level all at one club, while also having an official alignment with East Sandringham from Under 15s onwards and strong links with the Sandringham Dragons (TAC Cup). Hampton Rovers is a community club and one of the leading sporting clubs in Bayside.
