The important stuff
The SMJFL has launched a new process to register your player(s) for 2023 using PlayHQ. It’s a quick and easy system, but there are a few important things to note:
- No change to registration fees: Hampton Rovers will be keeping 2023 registration fees the same as 2022. Despite rising costs for the Club, the Committee has worked hard to maintain registration fees at the same level as last year.
- SMJFL to collect registrations: As part of the new process, the SMJFL will charge members directly for fees previously collected by community clubs.
- Get in quick for Early Bird rates: Early Bird rates are available from now until 3 February 2023. This will represent a saving of $45 per player. See below for rates, including a discounted rate for Under 8s.
- Sibling discount: A 10% sibling discount can be applied for each additional sibling that is registered under the same email address. Registration does not need to take place at the same time, however the same email address must be used to have the discount applied. The discount is applied on the Hampton Rover portion of the registration fee only (not SMJFL fees).
Registration fees
Early Bird Registration (until 3 February 2023) $270
Standard Registration (from 4 February 2023) $315
Under 8 Registration $200
Note: additional 10% sibling discount applied to Hampton Rover portion of fee at time of registration if same email address is used for siblings.
If you have any questions regarding registrations, please contact the Hampton Rovers Juniors Registrar, Kimberley Bartal via email .
St Kilda AFLW Captain encourages more girls to join Hampton Rovers

As we approach the end of the year, it’s a great time for girls to think about whether they would like to play footy. Check out what Hannah had to say about playing footy with the Hampton Rovers on Instagram and Facebook .
