Naturally it was a quieter week last week given the Queen’s Birthday bye round. If you’re feeling a bit twitchy, here’s what you did miss:
- Some siblings of our Under 8 players really getting into the groove of the game. Not really. It did give some parents ideas on how to deal with the “bored sibling” issue! See it on Instagram here.
- The bloke that usually writes these posts tried to sneak out of the country but it wasn’t to be. Especially when you tag us on your Instagram post Richard Bowen! Rich took advantage of our awesome sponsor, Skybus Melbourne, to get to the airport.
- The fixture for the remaining rounds was released last week. You can head to your team page to check out how early you have to get up or how late you’ll get home. Or if you have 2 or 3 kids playing, forget it, that’s your whole Sunday gone. Don’t forget, they are subject to change.
- Pics of each round are posted on Facebook from the Monday afternoon after the Sunday. We add to the album as photos trickle in. These pictures are lasting memories of our kids playing the game they love. If you have a half decent camera, blow off the dust and take a few pics. You won’t be sorry. Here’s Round 7’s collection.
- Finally, Rovers Local will be open this Friday.
