The season is now well and truly in full swing!
We will take the last team photos later this week. Thanks all for being on time and appropriately attired for the photos. It’s great to see how big some of our squads are now and how many opportunities we are giving for kids to play sport with their friends!
The weekend was again a busy one with games at Boss James and Castlefield running well into Sunday afternoon. The highlight for me was recognising the Mothers of our club with a small gift from Cornerstone and Co. Thanks to all those that helped organise this for our club mums. Once again can I please ask for those that can to support the companies that support our club. Cornerstone and Co (which is located near our Castlefield ground on Lundstone Street) have been a supporter of the club for a number of years. Friday night is our first At Home with the Rovers #AHWTR so please get down to the club to enjoy what promises to be another fantastic evening for players, family, friends and the broader community. Please make and effort to come down and support the club – you will have a great time!
This week I would like thank all those that take the time to help with the match reports and send in photo’s taken at the game. Can each team please share the experience of doing this to ensure each team gets something posted and written up every week. We certainly do have some creative people around the club and its an enjoyable part of the weekend and week reading the reports and looking at the great pictures on social media.
