Secretary’s Report – Round 10

4 July 2017 by Gavin Sharp

A big thanks to all kids who ‘played up’ the weekend just gone, and who will do so in the next round (16 July). We really appreciate you helping out those teams who are short because of the holidays.

Remember the bye this week for all teams. Make the best of the break this weekend.

Congratulations to those players who were awarded ‘Play of the Day’ in the last round, which recognised those players who contributed best as a team player.

For those participating in the U8-10 Lightning Carnivals fixtures will be available in the next couple of weeks.

Exemptions will again be provided with regard to player movement in round 10 because a number of people will still be away over the holidays. This means a number of players will be eligible to play 2 matches that weekend. Contact your team manager for further information.

Another good night at the Rovers Local last Friday – given many people were away on holidays. Rovers Local is on again Friday 21 July.
