It was the Rovers last home and away game of the season. We played against Ajax Stars at Princes Park.
Harvey and Jason were playing up from U8s as Ernie and Jack were away. Sam announced Ethan (who was the birthday boy) and Hunter to lead the team as Captains today.
It was fantastic to see the improvement with all the hard work at the training through the season. The team really ran and shared the ball across the ground, their skills by foot and hand created lots of opportunities and got the whole team involved. Great goals by Owen, Josh and Archer!
Rovers U9 Yellow should be very proud of their achievements all season and we celebrated with a sausage sizzle in the park. We are all looking forward to our Lightning Carnival game next week.
